At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.8% compared to 2024, reaching 33.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Cyprus ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 38.9% (from 23.9% in 2020).
