At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2024, reaching 41.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.0% (from 40.9% in 2020).
