At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2009, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Cyprus ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.8% (from 14.5% in 2005).
