At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.6% compared to 2009, reaching 20.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Spain ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.3% (from 18.9% in 2005).
