In 2018, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.4% compared to 2017, reaching 14.8%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.
Cyprus ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.0% (from 14.1% in 2013).
