At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 8.1% compared to 2018, reaching 13.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Cyprus ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 13.1% in 2014).
