At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.7% compared to 2019, reaching 13.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Cyprus ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.8% (from 15.3% in 2015).
