Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2020, Cyprus's population change increased by 1.4% compared to 2019, reaching 7.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.6.

Cyprus ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.4% (from 6.8 in 2015).
