Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2021, Cyprus's population change increased by 9.9% compared to 2020, reaching 7.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.9.

Cyprus ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.8% (from 6.3 in 2016).
