Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2016, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 3.4% compared to 2015, reaching 34.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.7%.

Cyprus ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 33.8% in 2011).
