In 2015, Cyprus's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 16.4% compared to 2014, reaching 1,979.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 38.8% (from 3,232 in 2010).
