In 2019, Cyprus's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 4.8% compared to 2018, reaching 1,190.

Cyprus ranks 24th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 49.7% (from 2,366 in 2014).
