In 2019, Spain's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 6.3% compared to 2018, reaching 131,577.

Spain ranks 3rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.7% (from 172,407 in 2014).
