In 2019, Sweden's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 3.2% compared to 2018, reaching 75,450.

Sweden ranks 4th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.7% (from 83,517 in 2014).
