In 2018, Cyprus's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 15.0% compared to 2017, reaching 1,250.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 53.8% (from 2,707 in 2013).
