Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Cyprus's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 14.3% compared to 2018, reaching 7.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 6.8%.

Cyprus ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 55.3% (from 16.1% in 2014).
