Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Spain's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 7.8% compared to 2018, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 6.8%.

Spain ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 42.4% (from 24.5% in 2014).
