Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2018, Cyprus's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 18.2% compared to 2017, reaching 20.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Cyprus ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 48.1% (from 38.9% in 2013).
