Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2018, Greece's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 7.4% compared to 2017, reaching 41.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Greece ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 30.4% (from 59.2% in 2013).
