Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2005, Czechia's population change increased by 4.2% compared to 2004, reaching 10.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.2.

Czechia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.4% (from 8.9 in 2000).
