Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2005, Slovakia's population change increased by 1.0% compared to 2004, reaching 10.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.2.

Slovakia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.0% (from 10.2 in 2000).
