Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2004, Czechia's population change increased by 4.3% compared to 2003, reaching 9.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.2.

Czechia ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.3% (from 8.7 in 1999).
