Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2018, Czechia's population change increased by 1.0% compared to 2017, reaching 10.6.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 10.5.

Czechia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.9% (from 10.4 in 2013).
