Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2017, Czechia's population change increased by 2.9% compared to 2016, reaching 10.5.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 10.5.

Czechia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.9% (from 10.3 in 2012).
