Government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data

In 2007, Czechia's government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data decreased by 1.1% compared to 2006, reaching 27.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 62.4%.

Czechia ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.2% (from 25.7% in 2002).
