Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1972, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 1971, reaching 70.3.

Czechia ranks 9th out of 13 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.3% (from 70.5 in 1967).
