Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1991, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 1990, reaching 72.0.

Czechia ranks 15th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.3% (from 71.1 in 1986).
