Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1992, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1991, reaching 72.4.

Czechia ranks 15th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.1% (from 71.6 in 1987).
