Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1993, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 1992, reaching 72.9.

Czechia ranks 16th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 71.8 in 1988).
