Life expectancy by age and sex

In 2000, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 1999, reaching 75.1.

Czechia ranks 18th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.5% (from 73.3 in 1995).
