Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1999, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 1998, reaching 74.9.

Czechia ranks 18th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 73.2 in 1994).
