Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2024, Czechia's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex decreased by 5.8% compared to 2023, reaching 11.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.0%.

Czechia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.6% (from 12.1% in 2019).
