Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2024, Poland's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex decreased by 1.8% compared to 2023, reaching 16.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.0%.

Poland ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.6% (from 17.9% in 2019).
