Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2018, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 0.4% compared to 2017, reaching 13.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.1%.

Czechia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.3% (from 12.8% in 2013).
