Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2019, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 2.4% compared to 2018, reaching 14.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.1%.

Czechia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.1% (from 13.9% in 2014).
