Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2020, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 19.7% compared to 2019, reaching 9.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.3%.

Czechia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 43.5% (from 6.5% in 2015).
