In 2017, Czechia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 14.5% compared to 2016, reaching 24,127.

Czechia ranks 11th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 56.6% (from 55,554 in 2012).
