Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Czechia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 16.4% compared to 2018, reaching 5.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Czechia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 64.8% (from 15.9% in 2014).
