Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 8.2% compared to 2018, reaching 17.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Slovakia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 44.8% (from 31.0% in 2014).
