Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2024, Czechia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 9.6% compared to 2023, reaching 9.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.9%.

Czechia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 62.5% (from 5.6% in 2019).
