Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Czechia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 22.1% compared to 2022, reaching 8.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Czechia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.9% (from 6.7% in 2018).
