Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2024, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 3.0% compared to 2023, reaching 19.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.9%.

Slovakia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.3% (from 17.1% in 2019).
