At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2016, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.5% compared to 2015, reaching 11.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Denmark ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.7% (from 12.1% in 2011).
