At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.7% compared to 2023, reaching 11.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Denmark ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.2% (from 12.5% in 2019).
