At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 11.9% compared to 2009, reaching 17.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Denmark ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.6% (from 17.6% in 2005).
