At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.8% compared to 2018, reaching 12.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Denmark ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.8% (from 12.4% in 2014).
