At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.5% compared to 2020, reaching 20.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Estonia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.1% (from 21.7% in 2016).
