At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.6% compared to 2019, reaching 20.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Estonia ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.2% (from 21.6% in 2015).
