In 2017, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.5% compared to 2016, reaching 41.2%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.7%.
Estonia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 139.5% (from 17.2% in 2012).
