At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2018, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 12.4% compared to 2017, reaching 46.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Estonia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 89.8% (from 24.4% in 2013).
